Fight the Movement! ~P~ Fight the Movement! ~P~

Rated 5 / 5 stars

Amazing! I would have to agree with the idea that the guitars could be a bit louder. I would also suggest you turn the distortion down a bit on the bass and give it a bit more of a punch.

No Other - Sakii No Other - Sakii

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Yeah I would have to agree with Timestop. You probably could have started the song at 1:20 and it would have been fine.

I continue to download all of your songs except like maybe 1 that I really didn't care for. :)

I have been plying around with Nexus and have not managed to find a bass that I like. Do you have any suggestions I could try?

EpikX

Shadowspartanx66 responds:

Yes. Move away from Nexus. Massive is the leading synth in my opinion. You can make your own sounds and it is sick!

Change-Sakii Change-Sakii

I was about to say "to much change" until I looked at the title and realized that would be really stupid.

Maybe give your bass more of a punch than a bump. Also seems a little lacking in sound from the middle of the sound wave spectrum.

I guess yeah, but this one was meant to be more of a peaceful track. :) And if you know what advent children is, Im making a video with this song over it with scenes from the movie! It goes perfectly together.

Very Cool

Do you use Fruity Loops?
And if so how did you get the fades and drops and stuff.

EpikX

MaSterAsSter responds:

I do use FL studios. The fades are made by automating cutoff. As for the drops, I can't really get into that. There's plenty of tutorials on youtube and what not that'll help you get started. Most of it is going to come from experience though. The only advise I can give you is to play around.

Shockwaves - Sakii Shockwaves - Sakii

Rated 4 / 5 stars

I think the underlying piano was a little sharp. You might be able to soften it up with a bit of filtering and some EQing.

The song could also use:
a more solid underlying bass
a mid filler melody for the chorus
a kick with more punch.

Better than I can do though...
Enough advice?

Let the music play

Return to the Badlands Return to the Badlands

Good job. It loops amazingly well.
Can't wait until you make more electronic like songs again.

What is that background noise you can hear at 00:13?

Hurricane Dimension Hurricane Dimension

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

Pretty Good.
I think the bass could have had a little more punch to it but that could just be me.

OcularNebula responds:

yeah, it could use some more high end, I guess? i know what you mean, but it can be difficult to get the right "punchiness", as volume and compression can only get you so far

Pretty good man.
I think the melody at 1:48 was a little strange but not terrible.

Keep the music playing.

I do too, I had alot of fun with this one though. (: Just made another one, let me know what you think.
