Yeah I would have to agree with Timestop. You probably could have started the song at 1:20 and it would have been fine.

I continue to download all of your songs except like maybe 1 that I really didn't care for. :)

I have been plying around with Nexus and have not managed to find a bass that I like. Do you have any suggestions I could try?

Yes. Move away from Nexus. Massive is the leading synth in my opinion. You can make your own sounds and it is sick!

I was about to say "to much change" until I looked at the title and realized that would be really stupid.

Maybe give your bass more of a punch than a bump. Also seems a little lacking in sound from the middle of the sound wave spectrum.

And if so how did you get the fades and drops and stuff.

I do use FL studios. The fades are made by automating cutoff. As for the drops, I can't really get into that. There's plenty of tutorials on youtube and what not that'll help you get started. Most of it is going to come from experience though. The only advise I can give you is to play around.

yeah, it could use some more high end, I guess? i know what you mean, but it can be difficult to get the right "punchiness", as volume and compression can only get you so far

I suppose, the very first synth you hear (with the delay and the fifths) acts as the bass for the majority of the song, but other than that there really isn't one

I'm not sure how well layering something else with low freqs would work here, but I do understand your sentiment

It seems like a slightly calmer version of dub step. Which is good because I don't really like dub step.

Experimenting with voice controls and FL I see.
Kind of a bummer that you can mostly only synthesize a mechanical voice from FL.
